My Family

I don't have a very large family, just my mum, my sister and I in my immediate family. My dad died when i was a child so i never really knew him very well. He was an architect. My sister, Jo, is three years younger than me and she is a Practice Manager in a doctor's surgery, which can be really handy at times when i need last minute appointments and injections. She also knows what you can get for free from the NHS and how to get it which I have used to my advantage on numerous occasions. My mum , Anne, is a nursery school teacher and is very good with kids which is not something I've taken advantage of as i don't have any of my own.
Here's Jo and i on our recent holiday to Mauritius

My extended family is a bit larger but still relatively small. I have two four uncles, two aunts and four cousins. Only one of my grandparents is still alive and she used to live on a farm just outside Cambridge so i had great fun when i was young driving cars, tractors and combines, shooting guns and riding horses. being a city boy it was a nice have these experiences.

This is my first ever blog

This is my first ever blog and I'm feeling very proud of myself. I've finally managed to lose my blogging virginity on 20/11/06. This could be a day that goes down in history or becomes significant in my life, simply due to this simple act. Isn't life great?
