My Family

I don't have a very large family, just my mum, my sister and I in my immediate family. My dad died when i was a child so i never really knew him very well. He was an architect. My sister, Jo, is three years younger than me and she is a Practice Manager in a doctor's surgery, which can be really handy at times when i need last minute appointments and injections. She also knows what you can get for free from the NHS and how to get it which I have used to my advantage on numerous occasions. My mum , Anne, is a nursery school teacher and is very good with kids which is not something I've taken advantage of as i don't have any of my own.
Here's Jo and i on our recent holiday to Mauritius

My extended family is a bit larger but still relatively small. I have two four uncles, two aunts and four cousins. Only one of my grandparents is still alive and she used to live on a farm just outside Cambridge so i had great fun when i was young driving cars, tractors and combines, shooting guns and riding horses. being a city boy it was a nice have these experiences.

Lovely photos - you almost look like twins. I suppose three years isn't much... I have a sister who is 12 years older ;-) and then others in between and a half sister 12 years younger from a second marriage. Nice to find out more about you - thanks for sharing this with us Ben!
